Internet Connection Sharing |
|
Internet connection sharing is a term used to describe the technique of allowing more than one computer to simultaneously access the Internet with a single Internet connection. This may be done via dial-up (modem), broadband (cable modem, DSL, satellite), ISDN, leased line or T1. In most cases Internet sharing uses Network Address Translation (NAT) technology to achieve this. It is also recommended to implement Firewall protection software or hardware when connecting your home or office to the internet. Depending on the size of the network and internet connection utilization proper Firewall should be used. In most cases if you are home or small office user, less expensive Firewall software should be sufficient to filter internet traffic, if you are medium to large scale company usually Firewall hardware is used to allow fast filtering performance without bandwidth degradation. Our goal is to analyze your needs and implement optimal, affordable solution for you. |
